Chris Savido was born in 1981, ready to create. Raised in
Pittsburgh PA, he gained experience in a wide array of mediums
and methods. After high school, Chris studied at Syracuse
University where he graduated in May, 2003 with a BFA illustration.
As an undergrad, Chris became comfortable with, and began
working primarily in acrylic on canvas. After graduation,
Chris moved to New York to start pursuing his dreams. The
end of 2004 brought Chris global media attention for his "controversial"
painting Bush Monkeys.
Today, Chris is a Flatbush Brooklyn resident, and continues
to show his work internationally, freelance, and refine his
craft . |
