How to pay yourself from WorkMade

Move money from WorkMade to your personal account—instantly in most cases, or next-day depending on your bank.

To pay yourself:

  1. Tap the plus button (+) on the Home screen

  2. Enter the amount you want to send

  3. Choose from the dropdown of your linked personal accounts

  4. Don’t see your bank? Tap “Add Account” to link via Plaid

  5. Tap Next to confirm

What to expect:

  • Most payouts happen instantly, depending on your bank

  • If not instant, they typically arrive by the next business day

  • You can transfer up to your available balance (that’s your total funds minus what’s saved in your Tax Bucket)

Tips for freelancers:

  • Transfer what you need, not everything—this keeps your business covered for subscriptions, tools, and expenses

  • Paying yourself weekly or twice a month can help you feel like you're on a “freelancer paycheck”

  • Don’t stress about exact timing—WorkMade works in the background to keep everything clean and accounted for

You’re in control. But the bookkeeping? Already done.
